Scientists were still hopelessly watching the fundamental sciences that had been locked down, and something even more despairing happened: the enemy is coming.
Ye Wenjie left a hint and quietly departed. This sentence made Luo Ji the only weapon on Earth that the enemy feared.
2. Transparency
The enemy's planet has no language; people communicate through telepathy, with thoughts directly touching each other, efficient and direct.
After the Earth-Trisolaris War ended, there were no more secrets on Earth. Invisible eyes in the air watched everything, just like when we were children watching busy ants on the ground. 3. Wallfacers

From a speculative scholar to a Wallfacer bearing the heavy weight of history, the sudden enormous power in his hands left Luo Ji somewhat bewildered. A savior? No, the other Wallfacers might be saviors; he was nothing. And no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't escape this vicious cycle. Once entered, he could never again be a transparent bug; he could never exit again, unless...
4. Her
"What about that 'him' of yours? Where is he now?"
"Where else could he be?"
"Yeah, where else could he be."
The most beautiful her now stood before him. Living with her in the Garden of Eden, carefree, like angels. All crises and sufferings were matters outside; his world contained only her.
On a rainy night, she left in haste. Parting ultimately arrived. She quietly left with his happiness, leaving behind half a century of loneliness for the Wallfacer.
5. The Curse
She left, and he finally truly became a Wallfacer, gripping the weapon Ye Wenjie handed him, attempting to become a savior.
Drawing a circle to curse a star—Wallfacer Luo Ji did his first proper thing, yet it seemed like an arrogant joke.
Until the curse came true. Complacent humanity still didn't understand what had happened. Bugs were still foolishly indulging in self-satisfaction while the enemy coldly watched. Bugs are just bugs.
A silver water droplet pierced the soap bubble of people's fantasies. That wasn't a symbol of life; it was merely a cold weapon that blocked the curse from Earth. The enemy eliminated the last threat.
6. Deterrence
Leaning against Yang Dong's tombstone, Wallfacer Luo Ji put down the chess pieces in his hand. This game had lasted many years; finally, it was about to end.
He won. The weak bugs and the enemy stood equally at the negotiating table for the first time. The enemy had to take such an opponent seriously. He made the weapon in his hand fulfill its intended purpose, establishing long-lasting deterrence.
7. The Dark Forest
As long as a spark of light appears, hunters lurking in the darkness have only one choice—eliminate it.
