Here's the thing, last week I heard my boss express a viewpoint, saying before AI, in previous software development, many technical compromises were made, largely considering costs, implementation costs too high, so many correct end-game solutions couldn't be implemented in current environment, so made many technical compromises.

Boss told me, in AI era need to do long-term things.

Before, long-term and short-term, we emphasized long-term solutions and short-term solutions, often chose short-term solutions due to cost compromises.

But what changes does AI bring?

It brought down the cost of long-term, the correct but more difficult solution.
