26 The Essence of AI Programming: The Bolder the Mind, the Greater the Yield For the past six months, I have been using AI to build projects and various products, accumulating a wealth of real-world experience. If I were to summarize it in one sentence, it would be: The bolder the mind, the greater the yield. Coding today is increasingly resembling AI image generation. What does this mean? From a technical perspective, the level of required specialization has dropped to an astonishing degree. From a practical standpoint, programming—or software development—has shifted from a specialized technical skill to a creative endeavor. What we used to call professional R&D has changed; the creative component now accounts for a very high proportion. When programmers use AI for coding, they are competing on creativity and imagination—in other words, on "boldness."
