This one, the name is very similar to A2UI, but actually completely different
A2UI solves UI layer problems
AG-UI solves the communication problem between frontend and Agent services during user interaction operations, making message sending/receiving and states on both sides match up, without having to write a lot of code manually
For example, a tool call, frontend and backend have similar command parsing logic, and states (which tool call is about to execute, frontend needs to request authorization)
In AI applications, these common communication messages and states at the application layer are troublesome to handle, so AG-UI defines a framework to solve this trouble
