89 General Transcription Products Have No Future

There's a type of AI product called transcription, turning on recording for meeting minutes, etc.

I use this kind of thing often. Based on actual experience, transcription results are affected by many factors:

• Grade of recording equipment

• Position of recording equipment (distance from speaker)

• AI's ability to recognize mixed Chinese and English input

• Context error correction ability (likely more affected by prompts)

• Voiceprint recognition ability (most likely traditional separation algorithms)

So the results I transcribe are sometimes good, sometimes bad, but ordinary users' recording quality is usually very poor, so the output results are also very poor.

Garbage product, no question about it.
