89 General Transcription Products Have No Future
There's a type of AI product called transcription, turning on recording for meeting minutes, etc.
I use this kind of thing often. Based on actual experience, transcription results are affected by many factors:
-
Grade of recording equipment
-
Position of recording equipment (distance from speaker)
-
AI's ability to recognize mixed Chinese and English input
-
Context error correction ability (likely more affected by prompts)
-
Voiceprint recognition ability (most likely traditional separation algorithms)
So the results I transcribe are sometimes good, sometimes bad, but ordinary users' recording quality is usually very poor, so the output results are also very poor.
Garbage product, no question about it.
What I'm thinking is, among the above factors, the recording equipment has a greater impact
